Benj Pasek is a composer, lyricist, singer and also created Dear Evan Hansen. He also wrote and styled all of the songs in the musical. He and his partner, Justin Paul, also worked on other musicals in the past, such as A Christmas Story, The Musical, Dogflight; they also worked on movies such as, La La Land, Trolls, and The Greatest Showman.
He currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States as of now.
